Why attend an Equality in Technology Event?
Equality in Technology seeks to make a meaningful impact on the tech community through four key areas.
A Supportive, Inclusive Community:
We create a space where women from all backgrounds can come together to thrive. Taking an intersectional approach, we actively champion those who have faced discrimination in the tech sector. By fostering inclusivity, we ensure that everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Empowering Events for Career Advancement:
Our events are designed to address the unique challenges women across the technology sector face, providing a platform to connect, learn, and grow. With limited opportunities for women to participate in career-focused events, our gatherings offer a much-needed space for personal and professional development.
Building Meaningful Connections:
EIT events are designed to connect a diverse community of industry professionals. Whether participants are seeking mentorship, business development opportunities, or career advice, they’ll find valuable connections with people who share their experiences and aspirations.
Sharing Resources & Advancing Equality:
Through collaboration and resource-sharing, we aim to support marginalised groups and ensure equal access to opportunities for all in the technology sector. Our events and initiatives work to educate allies, paving the way for a more inclusive future.

ABOUT US
Equality in Technology was established to promote and champion equality of opportunity across the technology landscape. Through fostering a diverse community and hosting events that cater to women from all backgrounds, Equality in Technology supports women in accessing and advancing within the technology sector. We recognise that there are many barriers facing women in technology and that challenges will differ from person to person depending on their background, characteristics, and circumstances.
Equality in Technology therefore aims to elevate women from all backgrounds as well as other groups that may have historically faced challenges gaining access to or advancing within the technology sphere.
